Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters: Review + Lots of Pics!

I love these lip butters! They are like a cross between a lipstick and a lip gloss which is perfect for me ! They are my go-to everyday lip colours.

I love how they glide onto my lips. The colour is sheer to medium and you can definitely build it. For the more sheer ones I use lip pencils to give it a more intense colour. For the rare times that I do use lipsticks I would use the lip butter over it to add shine. The colours against my skintone are pigmented enough to compliment it.

My most favourite thing about this product is how amazingly soft my lips feel during and after wearing it. The formula is made with mango, shea and coconut butters which are super hydrating for your lips! You definitely can't go wrong there. I like to wear it over those matte lipsticks that tend to dry out your lips , depending on the colour of course.

The only thing I don't like about the Revlon Lip Butters is that they don't last long on your lips. I expected that though because it is a lip butter and the product never claimed to be long lasting.

I have five of them and I do plan to purchase more. What do you think of these lip butters ? Leave a comment and let me know ! I'd love to hear from you :)

Here are the shades I own:-

Here are the colour swatches. The first picture was done without flash and the second with, just to give you an idea how they come across in different lighting.

Which are your favourite colours?

  1. I tried one of these at Superpharm recently but it was sooo sheer that I cast it aside as a waste of time and money! BUT, the Lollipop swatch looks beautiful so I may try it again.

  2. I could understand what you mean . I'm really not a lipstick gal so these tinted lip butters are perfect for me . The Lollipop is pretty pigmented so you may be happy with that one . Let me know how it goes ! :) xoxo
